Conditions of use

You may use the interactive services provided on this site subject to the following terms and conditions. These conditions apply to any content contributed in any format to any platforms hosted or facilitated by Lifescreen. Lifescreen may change the Conditions of Use from time to time, at Lifescreen?s sole discretion and without notice.

Registration and Login Names

In order to access this site, you are required to apply for registration to establish an account with Lifescreen. Lifescreen recommends that applicants register by contacting your local Lifescreen State Office on 1800 673 123.

Users must not impersonate another living person or registered user.

When registering, a genuine email address must be provided and we will require other identifying or contact details.

Lifescreen may refuse registration of users whose suggested login names are considered inappropriate. Grounds for refusal may include:

  • offensive content;
  • obscenity;
  • abuse;
  • defamatory content;
  • contempt;
  • incitement;
  • copyright infringement;
  • brand names or registered trademarks;
  • company or organisation names;
  • names of high-profile or public figures; or
  • names promoting political, religious, social or economic issues.

Lifescreen reserves the right to refuse suggested passwords at its sole discretion.

Lifescreen will not accept any registration that Lifescreen suspect is being made by or on behalf of a member who has been suspended for repeated violation of these conditions of use.

Passwords and Security

As a registered user of a Lifescreen website, you may receive or establish one or more passwords. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality and security of your password(s).

Accordingly, you understand and agree you are fully responsible for all actions made from your account.

If you become aware of any unauthorised use of your account, you should notify Lifescreen immediately.

Termination of Account

You can close your account with Lifescreen at any time by unsubscribing, where that option is available to you, or by notifying Lifescreen in writing.

If Lifescreen reasonably believes you have breached these Conditions of Use, Lifescreen reserves the right to restrict access to or terminate your account, with or without notice, and without any liability to you.

User Participation

Your access to the WEB Portal may be removed if Lifescreen considers it to be:

  • In violation of patient privacy, or other inappropriate use
  • Intentionally false or misleading
  • Infringing on our intellectual property rights or copyright. See below for further information on copyright;

Repeated breaches of these Conditions of Use may cause Lifescreen to inform to the manager or governing body of the person responsible, and in very serious cases, initiate legal action.

Client Information

Web Portal links to applications from which users have access to confidential client information. Such information is restricted via login access to the appropriate users.

Users are bound by these conditions of use when accessing Web information.

Use of this application is monitored and inappropriate use may result in rights to access all Lifescreen electronic applications being withdrawn by Lifescreen.

Linking

Lifescreen publishes links to external sites at its sole discretion

Lifescreen is not responsible for, and does not endorse, the content on external sites.

Lifescreen reserves the right to remove user access to any part of the site for any reason, at any time, with or without notice to the user.
